On the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor I had a rare and wonderful opportunity, to spend a day with WWII vets and ride in a B17G Flying Fortress. Hearing the stories of the vets is so much better than watching a documentary, and flying in the old warbird really brought those old stories to life.  Today, old age takes more second world war vets than any facist or Japanese army ever could. If you are lucky enough to know a vet, thank them, shake their hand and if you’re luck, you might get a good war story or two.
